But you openly support and advocate for the gun laws that caused this mass shooting, in addition to all of the others that have happened and will continue to happen. There were 330 gunfire incidents in American schools in 2024. In Japan there were 0. In China there were 0. In the entire European Union there was one. In the entire Middle East there was one. This is a uniquely American problem, and it can be traced back to the gun laws you support. There are over 1.5 million transgender people in the European Union, yet, school shootings there are virtually non-existent. The vast majority of American school shooters aren't even transgender. You're using this issue to reinforce your confirmation bias so that you don't actually have to face the cause of the problem head on.

Respectfully, you cannot claim to be pro-life while advocating for this. Is your right to own a gun so that you can hunt really more important than childrens' lives? If you insist on doing everything possible to save a non-sentient fetus, why won't you do the same for the children already here? If gun laws could save just one innocent child, wouldn't that be worth it? Why do you care more about unborn fetuses, but you feel there is no need for change when a child who is already on this earth gets shot to death? You keep echoing the "thoughts and prayers" sentiment for these children, but that clearly isn't stopping these shootings. And if you say something to the effect of "mental illness is the real problem", I am not sure how providing such people with firearms while they are getting the medications and treatment they need is going to solve anything.
