Some Thoughts from the Heart

I KNOW MOST CATHOLICS are genuinely good people. With truly great hearts. Seeking to do what is right and good. To see clearly amidst dense fog constantly piped in by money-motivated entities who care not about the objective good of others. Accordingly, I understand how, statistically, most of these favor legal abortion outside of medically necessary circumstances (e.g., ectopic pregnancy).

IF THIS IS YOU, THIS IS NOT A "GOTCHA." Not about political or ideological sides. Not between you and me. But between each of us and God. Based upon a truth we cannot presume to determine, but in Whom we are determined. Without which all moral order is absurd. And anything goes. And we have nothing to say to anybody about anything.

I WRITE INVOKING formidable leaders who were at the forefront of the abortion industry, including Dr. Bernard Nathanson who presided over the largest abortion clinic in the free world. And Norma McCorvey, the Roe of Roe v Wade, who later in life recognized how she was weaponized by the industry. Add Abby Johnson, decorated by Planned Parenthood for her leadership in the death industry. All awakened. All repented. All converts to truth. Converts to Catholicism.

PLAINLY: IF YOU VOTED "YES" ON OH ISSUE 1, you are complicit in allowing children to be killed for any reason through all 9 months of pregnancy. Given full knowledge and deliberate consent, you are in mortal sin. Your soul is in grave danger. Until you sincerely repent in the Sacrament of Penance.

AND EVERY PASTOR who recognized the gravity of this sin in exhorting all to vote "NO," out of concern for the souls to whom you've been entrusted, please be just as formidable in making this known. Now you are entrusted with pastoring clearly and courageously in a far more consequential way than before the vote. A far greater concern than even the COVID pandemic, which merely threatened the body. This threatens their eternal soul.
