IT MATTERS TO ME because 3 years ago this week I contracted COVID. Due to the weaponization of this I almost died. I thank God for my loving wife, friends, and community who rallied. One drove 3 and 1/2 hours to drop off ivermectin. Another brother, along with my family not allowed in the hospital, prayed a Rosary for me in the waiting room.

ON A GRANDER SCALE, economies and social structures were turned upside down. From today's vantage, with all we know, we must say, intentionally. Unfortunately, too many people suffered and continue to suffer in incredible ways that should not have happened. Too many good people who knew better either remained on the sidelines, or blindly, uncritically followed the narrative. And too many really good people, heroes (not pronouncing them infallible or perfect), Tucker Carlson, Glenn Beck, McCullough, Malone, Kennedy, were vilified and deplatformed.

MOST OF THIS was perpetrated by the Democrats, Legacy Media, and Dot-com machine with social engineering purposes. They threatened, punished, and deprived the public of the basis of making judicious decisions. There's no doubt that it factored into election strategy. Such remains their overall methodology to this day.

AND PERHAPS MOST TRAGICALLY, while Walmart and Target remained open, while violent hoodlums were allowed to set inner cities on fire (predominantly Blue cities, allowed if not encouraged by Blue State leaders), mom-and-pop stores were shut down, and for the first time in centuries, churches—the only source of life-saving grace—caved.

If somebody hated us and had total power, I cannot imagine a better plan to destroy humanity.

DULY UNDERSTANDING the complexities involved in decisions, it was nothing short of painful for people pining for Jesus Christ in His Sacraments and a word of consolation or encouragement— perhaps guidance on living a healthy life— shown the door if they refused to wear the ineffectual masks.
