THE WARNING & THE AWAKENING

Epic Unveiling Prophecy

OUR STORY TODAY (Nehemiah 8) Proclaimed in Catholic churches throughout the world this day. Here's the message.

CONTEXT: In spite of the extraordinary signs and wonders God had worked for His People, forging a profound relationship with them, they had again fallen into grave idolatry. Worshiping other gods. Profaning Him in every way. As a consequence, by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, Jerusalem had been taken, and they were exiled in 597 (first) and 586 (second) B.C.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE WARNING WORDS of the prophets through the duration of their prior debauchery went unheeded. These Messengers from God were reviled. After all, what could they know? All was well. They had maintained their basic religious practices! Theirs was a land flowing with milk and honey! 

Enabled by arrogant religious entitlement, fueled by comfort, the trajectory of faithlessness continued to intensify and spread. They broke every sacred promise. Exchanging truth for lies. Worshiping themselves in the name of God. 

IT'S IMPORTANT TO NOTE: A good number of those not given to the idolatry simply remained silent. Let it happen. Probably thought it was none of their business. "Let the 'state' take care of things!" "Don't rock the boat!" "It's not bad enough!" Likely the words of prophets were reduced to the equivalent of "conspiracy theorists." 

Inch by inch, their civilization completely collapsed. Making them vulnerable to the forces without.

SO THE POPULATION was extricated from their Promised Land, a 400-mile journey on foot, and planted in the pagan stronghold of Babylon. All that had been prophesied by the prophet Jeremiah had taken place, including the 70-year span of their exile. If only they had listened to the "conspiracy theorists." 

REFERENCE: Church-approved prophecies speak of impending, incredible chastisement. Divine Mercy is taking the form of Justice. We are already experiencing the collapse of our once-secure systems. The prominent drive is to institutionalize gender confusion and incredibly dangerous gender mutilation surgeries for even minors without parental consent. Too many of us are on the sidelines. Prophecies (Akita, Garabandal) speak of unprecedented evil within the Church hierarchy reverberating down through the ranks. The prophecies speak of great wars breaking out, including "fire from the skies" that will result in large populations being decimated… if we do not right now repent, and in particular, pray the Rosary. 

There's a good basis for an impending, epic supernatural event called "The Warning," corresponding to the illumination of conscience, a moment of incredible Divine Mercy where every person on the planet will see his soul the way God sees him, resulting in great horror resulting in great repentance or rejection. 

Accept this revelation or not, it is the ultimate truth each of us will face at the end of our lives. Which just as well could be today.

BACK TO OUR STORY. 

After being chastised, God's People are restored to their land. Before beginning the reconstruction, all gather around the scribe Ezra who proclaims the law. What's most moving: All who had been made aware of their sin repent. They come alive in the truth of the God they had forsaken, filled with new hope of restoration. 

"Standing at one end of the open place that was before the Water Gate, he read out of the book from daybreak until midday… and all the people listened attentively to the book of the law…. Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people, their hands raised high, answered, 'Amen, amen!' Then they bowed down and prostrated themselves before the LORD, their faces to the ground…. Do not be saddened this day, for rejoicing in the LORD must be your strength!"

IN TODAY'S CORRESPONDING GOSPEL (Luke 10:1-12) Jesus sends His disciples, urging them to proclaim everywhere they go, "The kingdom of God is at hand." We are those disciples. We are appointed and anointed prophets. This is what we are called to do. Our most important mission. All the time. Everywhere. Which cannot be more urgent in the shadow of the evil that is now besieging our world. With ultimate confidence that he is LORD. He is overall. There is nothing He asks of us that He does not intend to accomplish.

LORD JESUS CHRIST,
Make us aware of Whose we are. You made us for Yourself. Awaken us to our appointing and anointing. May Your Kingdom come in and through us.
